Sedimentation centrifuges have a solid drum in which suspension is divided into the sediment and the centrifugate under the effect of the centrifugal force. They are carried out separately by extraction devices.

The Suspensions for example come via distributor pipe / acceleration hub into the drum, centrifugal force separates into sediment and centrifugate. When the centrifugate has reached a certain height a peeler pipe is used to discharge clean liquids.

Medium size for harsh applications – S-15 Centrifuge Separator

Why our separators, because of the knowhow, expertise and a very favorable flow conditions inside the drum of STA separators is why STA is successful manufacturing Separators for more than 28 years, with more than 2000 units installed worldwide. They are therefore well suited for the fine clarification of suspensions, i.e. for separating the lowest solids content (efficiency 1-3µ) without any filter cartridges.

Semi manual centrifuges will be operated by time interval means when calculated time for the cake (sediment layer) has finished the centrifuge will be stopped.

Testing

Repair/ Overhaul

After a thorough examination and inspection, we provide you a status report of the machine condition whether for repair or overhaul, including an estimate cost of repair which include a list of a parts as well the estimate time & labor cost. For the repair/overhaul we only use genuine parts delivered form the Manufacturer’s, all parts come along with a warranty. Repair and/or overhaul can depend on the equipment installation, it can be done on site or as well on our premises.

Testing/ Rental

The efficiency and reliability of our STA -separators can be tested, our testing period is limited, once the testing period end the Separator can be returned or can be rented.

The testing is free of charge however we allow us charge a small fee for transportation, cleaning and inspection, if any customer consider to purchase a new separator from us within the period of 1 year, the testing fee will be reimbursed in form of a credit note.
